Dales Super Store - Jeep Gladiator

Jeep has brought us its first truck in almost 30 years the Gladiator. The Gladiator massively borrows from the Wrangler in not only the styling department but the years of off-road engineering that makes a Jeep a Jeep.

Trim Levels

The Jeep gladiator will be offered in the same trim levels as its popular sibling the Wrangler. Which will include the off-road bad boy trim, Rubicon. The top will be soft or hard depending on the option you choose.

Powertrain

The only thing that won’t be as plentiful will be the Gladiators powertrain options but we believe everyone will be quote happy with its Pentastar 3.6L V6 witch is good for almost 300hp. Also with a quality intake and tune it should bump it over this number making quite a nice daily driver and weekend mountain climber. The transmissions with be the same 6 speed manual and 8 speed automatic that comes in the Wrangler lineup.

Off-Road Capabilities

We are very excited to test and improve on the off-road capabilities of the Jeep Gladiator. The longer wheel base offers some possible disadvantages and advantages over the off-road king Wrangler. The chassis should take very will to aftermarket suspension that will increase travel and clearance while maintaining a factory ride quality.
