After being gone for 25 years the Ford Bronco returns bigger and better then ever. Aimed directly at the ever-growing adventure vehicle market the Bronco delivers a door-less, open-top experience. Challenging the Wrangler is no small feat as Jeep has protected its brand for numerous decades. The 6th generation Bronco will be equipped with a 2.3 liter or 2.7 liter EcoBoost that delivers power through a 10 speed automatic or 7 speed manual with a dedicated “crawling” gear.
Tuning Potential
Both powertrains will offer a thrilling ride in stock form, but the tuner market can make this even more thrilling with ECM tuning and intakes. Both the 2.3 liter and 2.7 liter EcoBoost have proven to make big power with very little modifications.
Update July 14th 2020: The 2021 Bronco has been revealed to the masses. Pricing and a reservation system were released. Reserved orders will be placed by end of year and start delivering by mid 2021.
