Description

Borgeson P/S Conversion Steering Gear (1-1/4" Shaft). This Borgeson conversion steering box is designed to fit both factory power and manual steering cars, offering a range of enhancements for your vehicle's steering system. This carries a three year warranty.

Features:

  • 14:1 Quick Ratio: Provides a firm, modern power steering feel.
  • Increased Header Clearance: Drastically improves clearance for headers.
  • Weight Savings: Weighs 10 pounds less than a factory power box.
  • Direct Fit: Bolts directly to the stock K-member mounting location and fits the original 1-1/8” pitman arm.
  • Installation Note: The steering column will need to be shortened for installation.
  • Recommended Accessory: Use of a power steering cooler is highly recommended for these applications.
  • Quality Assurance: Assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components.
Steering Column Modifications: The original steering column shaft must be cut and shortened for proper installation. To connect the shortened shaft to the box, drill and pin our Mopar vibration-reducing universal joint coupling to it (part number: 036425). The coupler includes the necessary drill bit and pins.

  • Return Port: 16mm x 1.5 Flare (located closest to input shaft)
