NEW Ford IDI Vacuum Regulator Valve Conversion Kit | ATSC6M | 1983-1994 Ford 7.3L / 6.9

There are still tens of thousands of reliable old IDI Ford Diesels in operation around the world. Unfortunately, some parts have become increasingly difficult or even impossible to find, and the vacuum regulator valve (VRV) is one of those critical components. The VRV attaches to the side of the injection pump, where it receives a mechanical input from the throttle shaft and converts it into a variable vacuum signal. This signal is then sent to the vacuum modulator on the C6 automatic transmission.

The vacuum regulator valves are made of plastic and can easily break while working around the engine compartment. If your VRV is broken or no longer functioning properly, we have a solution. Our kit replaces the vacuum modulator on the side of the C6 automatic transmission with a mechanical modulator. This modulator connects to an included cable, which links directly to the throttle shaft on the injection pump. This system is simpler and more reliable than the original vacuum setup.
