The AirDog® Fuel Preporator® has the capability to provide fuel at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine. It receives fuel under vacuum from AirDog® - The Original Fuel/Air Separation System, drawing fuel from the tank.

Fuel Cleaning:

1. The fuel first passes through a water separator, removing water and large particulate contaminants that could damage the gerator fuel pump.
2. The remaining fuel, now under positive pressure flow, enters the filter.
3. Inside the filter, remaining particulate contaminants are captured, and entrained air/vapor is also separated.
4. Separated air/vapor is discharged from the filter through the Primary Air/Vapor Discharge Port and into the return-to-tank passage after the regulator.
5. Cleaned fuel, free of contaminants and air/vapor, exits the fuel filter through two passageways.
6. This clean fuel is then directed into the fuel pickup tube and out to the engine.

Excess Fuel:

• Any excess fuel not needed by the engine is released through the pressure regulator.
• The regulator controls the fuel pressure delivered to the engine, ensuring optimal operation.
