The factory motor mounts on your 6.6L V8 Duramax Diesel are great for normal driving, but over time, or in higher horsepower applications, these rubber mounts can rip. Ripped or broken motor mounts can cause excessive vibration or engine shifting while driving, posing a bigger danger to other engine components.
