  1. What does TruckRx do?
    • TruckRx, using the TRX-Link and the free TruckRx app, provides a glimpse into your vehicle’s engine and systems. Available data includes DTCs, Fault Codes, Aftertreatment (DPF/SCR), Vehicle and Trip Data, Driver Productivity, and Vehicle Parameters.
  2. Do I need a subscription to use the app?
    • No, a subscription is NOT necessary to use the app. You do have the ability to upgrade to a subscription service which provides access to advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting/repair information.
  3. How Does TruckRx Work?
    • Simply connect the TRX-Link to the diagnostic port and pair it via Bluetooth to the free TruckRx app on your smartphone. It’s that easy!
  4. Does anyone else receive my truck’s data or information?
    • No, this is just between you and your truck. It’s up to you whether you share the fault codes or productivity reports to service providers.
  5. Does the TruckRx App cost anything?
    • No, the TruckRx app is free to download from the Google Play or Apple Store. You pay for the device and there aren’t any other fees. It pays for itself in one saved tow or dealer diagnostic visit.
  6. Does TruckRx work with all trucks?

  7. Does TruckRx support cylinder cut out testing?
    • No, cylinder cut out testing is NOT supported by the TruckRx app.
  8. Does TruckRx allow the user to reset the DPF soot level?
    • Resetting the DPF Soot Level is currently not supported. This functionality may be available in a future release.
  9. What is PRO Mode?
    • PRO Mode, originally implemented as an engineering tool, will be removed in the next TruckRx release.
  10. What do the lamp abbreviations mean?
    • MIL – Malfunction Indicator Lamp
    • RSL – Red Stop Lamp
    • AWL – Amber Warning Lamp
    • PL – Protect Lamp
    • TABS - Trailer ABS
