A harmonic balancer, also known as a crankshaft pulley damper, is a crucial component in an internal combustion engine. It's designed to reduce vibrations and maintain the smooth operation of the engine by controlling the torsional vibrations of the crankshaft. The harmonic balancer is constructed with a rubber insulator bonded between the outer ring and the inner hub, effectively dampening the vibrations caused by the combustion process and providing overall stability to the engine. This is 13.5" in diameter and carries a one year warranty.
