Power Driven Diesel 5.9 Cummins Race Conical Valve Spring Set | 1989-1998 Dodge Cummins 5.9L 12V

Set of (12) high performance drop-in valve springs for the 12v Cummins cylinder head. These ultra light-weight valve spring assemblies are designed for maximum valve control at high RPM. They feature 175 lbs of seat pressure and room for just over 0.700″ of valve lift, perfect for a race truck engine! These performance springs will accommodate the vast majority of the largest lift camshafts on the market while still maintaining reasonable open pressure for cam lobe and lifter/tappet life. As with any aftermarket valve spring upgrade with over stock pressure, it’s recommended that a higher quality engine oil is used to protect the cam and tappets.

Kit contains:

• 12 race conical valve springs
• 12 steel retainers
• 24 lock halves (enough for 12 valves)

Normal installed height with supplied locks/retainers is 1.870″ which results in the specified 175lb seat pressure rating.
